We’ve tried to answer the questions we think you might have before you first come, so that your visit with us will be as comfortable as possible. If we haven't answered your questions in the list below, please feel free to email us at:
1. How do I get there?
We are at theBarn on Waterloo Road. Click the address at the bottom of this page for a map!
2. Where do I park?
We have our own carpark at theBarn and there are plenty of spaces.
3. What should I wear?
Most of our regulars choose to dress casually, but please wear whatever you feel comfortable in!
4. Who should I find if I have any questions?
Greeters at the doors are there to provide any information you might need, to show you to your seats or point you to the loos, kids leaders, etc.. We also have an information area in the front entrance way.
5. What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings we run a full kids program. Our children join us for the first few songs right at the start of the service. Then they are dismissed at the end of the announcements slot.
The nursery, thePod, is on the ground floor, out the main entrance and to the right. The pre-school room, theLaunchPad, is at the back of the auditorium. Parents are welcome to leave their children in the care of our volunteers if they’re comfortable or to stay and watch for as long as necessary. Refreshments (drink and snack) are provided for the kids.
The children’s church covers Reception to Year 6, and is based upstairs in theBaseCamp and theSummit. The leaders will walk them to their groups at the appropriate moment and you’re welcome to go with them. Once they’ve settled, feel free to rejoin us for the rest of the service and you can pick them up at the end.

6. Where are the loos?
You will find loos either down the corridor on the left as you enter through the front doors, or there are mens, womens and a disabled loo with baby changing facilities clearly visible in the auditorium.
7. What can I expect to happen during the service itself?
The service will start with a few songs. Our music is upbeat and contemporary. The words will be on the big screen for you. If you don’t know the songs, just relax and listen. Feel free to sing, clap, tap your feet – whatever you are comfortable with. Most people will stand during any music, but equally, feel free to sit if you wish.
Following the first few songs, there will be announcements and offering. Then the children are dismissed to their groups while the adults spend some time in quieter worship. This is usually followed by the message. There are often outline notes to fill in the gaps (the greeters will give you a copy on the way in and the answers will be on the big screens along with the Bible verses quoted, etc.)
At the end of the service, there is usually a little more music and the chance for you to respond to what you have heard.
We assure you that you will not be made to feel embarrassed, asked to speak, made to come forward, etc.
Sometimes you’ll find the format a little different. We usually have communion on the fourth Sunday of each month.
8. How long will the service be?
Services usually last about an hour and a half (10.00 - 11.30).
9. What happens after service?
Please join us for free tea and coffee straight after service. Members of our Leadership and/or Welcome Team would be delighted to answer any questions you may have if you’re new (or relatively new) to church. You’ll find that our people love to chat and there is never a rush to the exit at the end!
