Christmas Service Line-Up

We're delighted to announce the 2012 schedule of Christmas services, here at theBarn.

We start with a Christmas MESSY CHURCH on the afternoon of Sunday 9th December. Starting at 4pm, we'll have the usual array of arts, crafts and activities, wrapped up with a couple of songs and a short talk, and, of course, a lavish tea. We hope all our regular kids will come along, and why not bring a friend or two?

Our CAROL SERVICE is taking place on Sunday evening 23rd December, starting at 6pm. The service will include traditional carols, some newer songs, a spot of drama, readings of the Christmas story, and a short, thought-provoking message. We will intentionally be making this event kids friendly, and hope that, even though it is an evening kick-off, our families will be able to join us. We'll be serving refreshments afterwards too, of course. (Last Sunday morning we served 30 litres of coffee, apparently!)

On CHRISTMAS DAY, we will be holding a service of about 45-60 minutes, here at theBarn, starting at 10am. And of course, we are hoping that you'll bring along your presents so we can see what ya got! Having said that, we'd really like to encourage you to set aside that time on Christmas morning to celebrate Jesus' birthday, remember the glory and humility of that day, and to worship the King, just as the Wise Men did of old.
