Church Plans for this weekend (May 28-30)

Here are the details you’ll need for our various services, activities and resources this weekend.

ADULTS

  • For those unable to come in person, the SUNDAY SERVICE will be going out as a live-stream, starting with a countdown at 10am. The direct link is https://youtu.be/uSM3S-WarqM.  If for any reason that link doesn’t work, or if you’re watching on a smart TV, open YouTube and search for theBarn Bidford. To book in to attend the service in person, please email booking(at)thebarn.org.uk by Friday evening.

KIDS & PRE-SCHOOL

  • The usual KIDS & PRE-SCHOOL VIDEOS are available online at https://www.thebarn.org.uk/church-online/. We hope your young ones enjoy those.
  • We’re holding a Family Service again on Sunday 6th June at 2.30 pm and we’re going to run kids’ groups in the morning on 13th and 20th. Please contact Faith for further details: faith(at)thebarn.org.uk.

YOUTH

  • FUSION FRIDAY is back at theBarn tonight for Years 7+ from 6:45 - 8:30 pm. No need to book. There will be a fire pit and marshmallows!
  • This Sunday during the morning service, we will be holding an OUTDOOR YOUTH MEETING in the new marquee. Please come along ready for a 10 am start and report to the marquee. We recommend wearing warm clothes and bringing a coat, though hopefully the wet weather is now over, at least for now! If your family are intending to stay for the main service, please book in using booking(at)thebarn.org.uk.
  • Looking further ahead, youth will be held on Sun 6th June at 2:30 pm during the Family Service and on Sun 13th & 20th June at 10 am.
  • On Sat 3rd July, we’re holding a YOUTH ADVENTURE DAY from 10 am – 5 pm. All Year 7+ are welcome. For details and a consent form, please email youth(at)thebarn.org.uk.
  • RESOURCE OF THE MONTH: For our current recommended resource, we are heading back to Switch Youth on YouTube. The channel has new videos each week including recent ones, ‘Feeling Alone’ and ‘Finding Purpose in Your Pain.’ Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/c/SwitchYouth.
