Get ready for Messy Church Olympics

Diaries ready? Bidford Baptist is inviting all members, non-members, visitors, well-wishers, occasional attenders and nonchalant passers-by to one of the summer's key sporting fixtures. Naturally most people are aware of the England-South Africa cricket series, the football Euros, Wimbledon and the London Olympic Games. Extensive research, however, indicates that there are still some people who are yet to be aware of the Bidford Messy Church Olympics, on July 1.

As well as the usual mix of arts, crafts and fun, the Messy Church Olympics is supplemented with its own sports events (non-compulsory) and official Bidford Messy Church Olympics Bar-B-Q. This represents a splendid chance for all local people who have not been invited to compete in the (ahem) other Olympics to make their mark on the sporting calendar.

Regular Messy Church-goers will be relieved to know that craft activities will also be available as always.
