One Big Service from November

Good news everybody: We've decided to go back to one big Sunday morning service, starting at the beginning of November!

Having switched to two morning services back in Sept 2015, we felt it was time for a full review of how that had worked, or rather whether it was proving to be effective twelve months on. We surveyed the church to see whether a slight tweak in the service times would create a better balance between the first and second service, but came to the unanimous conclusion that that was unlikely to have much of an effect. In our survey, 10am was deemed to be by far the most popular start time and there seemed to be very little appetite for a service starting much after 10.30.

Given the strength of the statistics, it wasn't really that difficult a decision. Both commonsense and our prayerful consideration suggested that a move back to one full service was the best route forward for us right now.

So, we kick-off on November 6th ... at 10am. The car-park will go back to being full, so we suggest you come early! There will be coffee before and after the service as always. We are making a few changes in our kids' spaces to facilitate the transition, and will have to do some strategic thinking as to how we make this work medium to longer term.
