Philia For Women This Saturday

Philia is a ministry which brings together women of faith from across the denominations to celebrate and discover more about the God we worship. The word 'philia' means love shared in friendship and our vision is to provide opportunities of encounter and connection, where women of all ages can be strengthened and inspired.

Annie Hughes has travelled to many places encouraging people to discover the healing and transforming power of God's love. Born in Oxford she spent her early years in Nigeria where her parents were missionaries. Annie trained as a nurse and later worked as a chaplain in a GP medical practice helping to meet the spiritual needs of patients and staff. She is married to John and has three married sons. Annie will be speaking on 'There is so much more!'.
