Philia Women's Evening This Saturday (14th Nov)

Philia is a ministry which brings together women of faith from across the denominations to celebrate and discover more about the God we worship. The word 'philia' means love shared in friendship and our vision is to provide opportunities of encounter and connection, where women of all ages can be strengthened and inspired.

Speaker: Jo Soper

Jo teaches hermeneutics at Westminster Theological Centre and is a speaker at the New Wine National Gatherings.  She started Exeter Network Church in 2005 with her husband Jon, and they have recently planted two other churches.  They aim to shape a culture that releases freedom and joy,  empowers everyone to participate, and creates expectation to see the Spirit at work in everyday life.  Jo’s life changed course after working in Hong Kong with Jackie Pullinger, studying some theology, and marrying a would-be rock star who then became an Anglican vicar.
