Plans for Sunday 15 August

Thank you very much to all those who contributed to the first week of our Summer Series, ‘Encounter.’ Paul’s interview of Steve and Helen was fascinating and Mary’s message on ‘The Woman Caught in Adultery’ thought-provoking and inspiring. We sang, ‘Your mercy flows like a river ON us.’ Our prayer out of that is, Lord may Your mercy flow like a river FROM us.

This week we have an interview with Claire Hackwood on the theme, ‘How does the church flourish even in places of persecution?’ Esther Price will be speaking on ‘Saul’s Conversion on the Road to Damascus.’ Really looking forward to that!

We’re going to be holding our service INDOORS this week, starting at 11am. Please do book in by Friday evening as usual, specifying in which zone you’d like your seats allocated (booking(at)thebarn.org.uk).

• Zone A will be front and central, and for anyone who doesn’t want to wear a mask and doesn’t mind if their neighbours also do not.
• Zone B will be in the front section on either side. This is for people who think they might want to wear a mask while in their seats or to put it on while they’re singing.
• Zone C will be for people who would prefer to wear a mask throughout and will be at the back on either side.

KIDS will again have their own group, leaving the main service after the first set of songs. The YOUTH will be staying in the main service for the duration of our Summer Series. As ever, please be considerate of those around you, many of whom are still understandably exercising caution in crowded spaces, and, as the government has advised, please wear your face-mask when entering and moving around the building.
