Plans for Sunday 25 April

Posted Friday 23rd April 2021

Here are the plans for our Sunday services and activities this weekend - adults, kids and youth:

FAMILY SERVICE

  • We’re delighted to be hosting a Family Service on Sunday, aimed at those with primary school aged children, and starting at 10 am. This will not be live-streamed.
  • For those unable to come along, there are videos for children and pre-school available at https://www.thebarn.org.uk/church-online/.

ADULTS

  • There is a Pre-Recorded Service which will be going live at 10 am on Sunday. That service will include some praise and worship, Jamie’s next message in the series ‘What does it mean to BE the Church?’ – this one is called ‘Making Disciples 2021’ – as well as the chance to respond to that and the weekly news and updates. The direct link is https://youtu.be/rSYvVSddXFs. If for any reason that link doesn’t work, or if you’re watching on a smart TV, open YouTube and search for theBarn Bidford.

YOUTH

  • This week we are planning to hold an in-person youth meeting during the Family Service. So, if you'd like to come, please assemble on the grass area to the side of the main church building at 10 am. We will be meeting outside, so bring warm clothes and a coat. It would be very helpful if you could let Mary know you're coming by emailing mary(at)thebarn.org.uk, please.
  • Resource of the Month: Can we recommend that you get your teens to subscribe on YouTube to the brilliant youth channel 'Intro/Outro' – https://youtube.com/c/IntroOutro? It has some new videos on there, including some dealing with disappointment and facing mental health issues.
  • The ‘Bible books in a minute’ videos have been trickling out and we have now worked all the way through the Old Testament books. You can find those on theBarn Bidford website (https://www.thebarn.org.uk/ministries/youth/one-minute-bible-books/).

PRAYER MEETINGS

  • Online IF is taking place tonight at 6.30 pm. If you haven't received the Zoom link, please email jamie(at)thebarn.org.uk

That should give you all the information you need. Have a great weekend and hopefully see you on Sunday, either onsite or online!
