Galatians 5:1, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." The theological reality, the good news of the gospel, the consequence of the finished work of Christ on the cross is that we have been set free: really, totally and utterly. And yet, even though the enemy has been defeated and disarmed, we too often seem to find ourselves suckered and seduced back into a phony, pseudo-captivity - struggling with guilt and shame, fear and anxiety, insecurity and inferiority. This series is designed to unpick the reasons for that and to help us all to live in the freedom Christ purchased for us as He burst out of the grave, saved us into new life and filled us with the power of His Spirit.
